Every summer, you will see folks playing on the beach. Games up and down the shore. But if you are looking for the world’s best players, you wanna be in Monmouth County this weekend!
This Saturday, May 30th & Sunday, May 31st in Belmar, it’s the Association of Volleyball Professionals AVP season opener at the Jersey Shore.
The world’s best professional beach volleyball players return to the Jersey Shore as the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP), the premier professional beach volleyball league in the world, opens the 2026 AVP League season in Belmar, New Jersey.

The world’s best professional beach volleyball players return to the Jersey Shore as the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP), the premier professional beach volleyball league in the world, opens the 2026 AVP League season in Belmar, New Jersey.
The AVP League Belmar event marks the first time that Belmar has hosted a professional beach volleyball tournament in 14 years. The AVP made regular stops in Belmar for nearly two decades from 1991-2012 and will return to one of the premier east coast locations for hosting professional beach volleyball.
Lots of great players are coming to Belmar to play this weekend. Here are some of the professional players who are playing.
Notable players include:
- Former NBA player who played seven seasons as a small forward for the Rockets, Timberwolves, Pacers, and Suns after a standout college basketball career at Arizona
- 2024 Paris Olympian
- 2024 Paris Olympian
- 2016 Rio Olympian
- 2024 & 2025 AVP Most Valuable Player
- 2025 AVP League champions
- One of two married couples competing in the AVP League

ADMISSION: Tickets are available at www.avp.com/tickets. General admission starts at just $35, with Endline VIP tickets available for $150 and Courtside Boxes (featuring four tickets per box) available for $250.
