Asbury Park resident Iquan Tyler was stabbed to death in his Asbury Park Gardens residence Saturday night.

He was picking up food that was being delivered to his home. While Tyler was paying for his dinner, he got into an altercation with resident Jennie Cullum.

According to police reports, Cullum began verbally assaulting Tyler. After a couple of verbal arguments, Cullum followed the victim upstairs.

Cullum knocked on Tyler's residence and told him to come out to the hallway. Once Tyler left the doorway, Cullum stabbed him.

Tyler was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for medical help. He was later pronounced dead at 12:05 am.

Cullum is charged with first murder, fourth degree unlawful possession of a weapon and third degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Her bail is set for $772,500, no ten percent.
