WANTED: Toms River, NJ Police looking for two men in connection to robbery
Toms River Police are asking for your help in providing any information that can lead to them arresting two men wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred on Tuesday night.
Two men walked into a convenience store on Lakewood Road near Cox Cro Road, then walked behind the counter where they physically attacked the clerk by hitting him in the face repeatedly and then forcing him to open up the register.
After the assault and robbery, the two suspects left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of proceeds, igniting a police response around 9:00 pm.
The clerk was tended to by the Pleasant Plains EMS and was then transported to Kimble Medical Center for further medical care.
Both suspects Toms Rive Police are looking for are described as thin white males, approximately 5'10-6'0 tall.
