Well, this looks like an event I would love to do! I am gonna grab my camera and head down to Cape May County for a fun and adventurous night under the moon and stars at the Cape May Lighthouse.

It's a great night out at the historic Cape May Lighthouse coming up this spring and summer. According to the Cape May MAC "Cape May MAC (Museums+Arts+Culture) offers nighttime climbs in 2023 at the Cape May Lighthouse, with Lighthouse Full Moon Climbs on select full moon dates, and Stairway to the Stars offered during select new moon dates."

 

 

If you have never been to the Cape May Lighthouse it is a fantastic lighthouse and the setting where it is made for a fantastic adventure. Add the element of a night climb and it sounds really cool. I've climbed the Cape May Lighthouse however never at night so I may wanna put this on the "to-do" list.

Cape May MAC has a few dates for you to take advantage of the "night climb". "Lighthouse Full Moon Climbs are offered 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 6, May 5, June 3, July 2, Aug. 1, and Aug. 30, and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 29 and Oct. 28.

In addition, Stairway to the Stars is offered 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 20, May 19, June 18, July 17, Aug. 16 and Sept. 14, and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct .14 and Nov. 13.

There is an admission price for these events. Admission for these special evening climbs is $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-12. Tickets are available for purchase on-site the evening of the event.
