The NJ ANCHOR program gives New Jersey homeowners and renters money back to help with property taxes. How much you get depends on your income and whether you own or rent.

According to a recent Patch article, "ANCHOR tax relief checks start rolling out this week, and eligible residents can expect to receive their rebates soon. Thanks to a smoother filing and validation system, ANCHOR rebates are being sent out more than two weeks earlier than originally anticipated."

So you could see your rebate two weeks earlier, so that is good news, and keep an eye out for yours.

Your deadline to file an ANCHOR Tax Rebate application is approaching on October 31st, 2025. CLICK HERE for filing information.
