Absecon man who eluded police found with mass amount of crystal meth
Eluding police, avoiding a motor vehicle stop and driving his car into a storage container add up to minor charges in comparison to drug charges for an Absecon man.
Galloway Township Police say they found Jordan Ragland, 26, allegedly in possession of 224 grams of crystal meth he intended to sell near Robin Lane and Aloe Street.
After initially driving off, Ragland surrendered to police on Robin Lane Sunday around 2 pm.
A Galloway police officer had attempted to pull Ragland over in a motor vehicle stop of his 1999 Ford F-150.
K-9 Rocky of the Galloway Township Police K-9 Unit responded and conducted a search of the vehicle and found the crystal meth.
Ragland is charged with Eluding, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute (1st degree) and Obstruction as well as multiple motor vehicle violations.
He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on the aforementioned charges.
