A First For LBI – Beach Polo Is Coming To Ocean County

With tanning season pretty much over for 2019, one of Long Beach Island's beaches will switch from hosting sunbathers of the human variety to the site of a first of its kind equestrian event for LBI.

According to Pennsylvania's Tinicum Park Polo Club, Long Beach Township will host its first Beach Polo Classic on Saturday, October 5th.

In conjunction with Long Beach Township, Tinicum Park Polo Club is proud to present an afternoon of fun and excitement! On Saturday, October 5, 2019 (Rain Date: Sunday, October 6, 2019), spectators will be able to watch a polo match on the beach and socialize with friends and fans. A portion of proceeds will benefit local charities.

The event will be on Long Beach Township's 68th Street Ocean Beach, with gates opening at Noon.
