A Familiar Toms River Sight Will be at The Super Bowl

You don't have to spend too much time around Ocean County to have seen the massive, gold Cadillac covered in homemade signs prowling the streets.

With declarations like "LOCAL CELEBRITY" and "MISS LIBERTY USA", it's hard to miss Sondra Fortunato. In fact, I think it's safe to say that she doesn't want you to miss her.

And now, with New Jersey's first Super Bowl only days away, we can rest assured that Toms River will be represented at The Meadowlands. Whether it will be a representation that we want is up for debate.

Personally, I'm more of a fan of someone being a celebrity because of talent. Someone who makes a name by singing, painting, writing, you know, a talent that makes someone special and admirable.

In my opinion, self promotion isn't necessarily a talent.

But hey, what do I know? Here I am writing an article about someone that we've all seen around Ocean County and know by sight. So maybe I'm wrong when it comes to how "celebrity" is defined.
