An investigation is underway following an overnight break-in at Uncle Dood's Donut's Shop in downtown Toms River where shattered glass covered a broken door frame.

In the Point Pleasant Borough council race...It's incumbent republican Pamela Snyder and republican John Wisniiewski and democrats Peter Hagermeyer and Derek Reichen--becher.

The Little Silver borough council race features...Incumbent republican Dane Mihlon and Michael Holzapfel and democrats Christopher Healy and Matthew Cohen.

And in the Fair Haven borough council race...It's incumbent republican Susan Sorensen and Elizabeth Koch and democrats Christopher Rodriguez and Jessica Patel.

Like clockwork, incoming governors say fiscal and economic conditions they inherit are worse than they anticipated....Governor Christie is already trying to head off such criticism, but there are issues the next governor could criticize, if he or she wanted.
