The 2019 General Election has come and gone and all the results are in.

Maurice 'Mo' Hill defeated Jonathan Petro to win the Toms River mayor seat.

Republicans gained one state senate seat and at least two assembly seats in Tuesday's election.

Republicans swept the county assembly races at the Jersey Shore where Brian Rumpf and Dianne Gove won in the 9th district, Greg McGuckin and John Catalano won in the 10th, Ron Dancer and Rob Clifton in the 12th and Sean Kean and Ed Thomson in the 30th.
