It's not a reason to celebrate just yet but could be sign of hope for the Jersey Shore. Ocean County reported only 8 new cases on Tuesday and have 7,566 since their first case was reported march 9th in Manchester. Lakewood has the most in Ocean County, followed by Toms River and Brick.

Monmouth County reported 39 new cases on Tuesday and have 7,068 overall. Freehold Township has the most in Monmouth County followed by Middletown and Howell.

Governor Murphy has unveiled a plan to increase Covid-19 testing in jersey from 12 thousand a day now to at least 20 thousand a day by the end of this month. He says more testing will promote confidence among New Jerseyans.

Governor Murphy also unveiled a plan Tuesday to expand the state's contact tracing program, so people who have been exposed can be quarantined.

Governor Murphy announced that CVS pharmacy will have swab-and-send testing capabilities in place at 50 of its NJ stores by the end of May.
