The Ocean County Health Department has moved a step closer to opening up a drive-thru covid-19 testing site at OCC.

There is a major personal protective equipment shortage for first responders on the front lines of this coronavirus pandemic. In Monmouth County, Sheriff Shaun Golden says to date they've provided about 25-hundred PPE sets to first responders but there is still a great need for additional sets.

Five more bills responding to the coronavirus pandemic were unanimously passed by the assembly Wednesday, including one expanding eligibility for disability and family leave benefits that was quickly signed into law.
