Ocean County health officials are bracing for additional positive cases of coronavirus by taking proactive measures.

New Jersey has about 100 total positive cases of covid-19. Monmouth County has 12 positive cases as of this morning and there are 3 in Ocean County including men from Berkeley and Manchester and a pregnant woman from Toms River.

Two Barnegat police officers have been asked by Chief Keith Germain to self-quarantine following separate and unrelated incidents.

The New Jersey juvenile justice commission is temporarily suspending visits for the next 30 days.
