As residents in parts of Monmouth County have to deal with a wretched smell from a nearby landfill in Tinton Falls, one county official is taking some of the blame.

This morning at that very same landfill, emergency personnel are there battling a fire and trying to manage smoke conditions.

With high levels of influenza being reported schools across the state are having their janitorial staffs working overtime, disinfecting desks and other common areas that could carry the flu bug.

Part of being in prison or a jail is going through the rehab process so that upon release an inmate is less likely or unlikely to encounter the demons that got that person into trouble in the first place.
