Two men were shot to death hours apart Friday evening in two towns in Burlington County, officials said Saturday.

Prosecutors did not say whether the shootings were related. Police have made no arrests and no weapons have been recovered.

The first shooting happened about 6:30 p.m. on the first block of Pine Street in Beverly.

In that shooting, Kevin Randolph, 29, of Willingboro, who was outside, was struck. Randolph was pronounced dead at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro.

Anyone with information about the shootings is asked to call the Burlington County Central Communications at 609-265-7113.

Hours later, in the Browns Mills section of Pemberton, township resident Joseph McBreen III, 32, was shot about 9 p.m. while outside on the 3500 block of North Lakeshore Drive. McBreen was pronounced dead at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Pemberton.

The shooting locations are about 24 miles apart.

Authorities did not release other details.

This is the third reported homicide in Pemberton this year and the first in Beverly.
