2 arrested at Atlantic City area hotel charged with pimping out child
ABSECON — A man and a woman in Atlantic County have been charged with selling a child for sex.
Marcus E. Tukes, 47, of Bridgeton, and Courtney H. Glose, 31, of Brigantine, were arrested Friday at the Knight’s Inn on Route 30 in this city.
The arrest followed an investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Child Exploitation Task Force, the FBI, and the state Department of Human Services Police.
The Task Force took the girl into custody two weeks ago, prosecutors said.
The pair are facing charges of first-degree promoting the prostitution of a child, third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and third-degree conspiracy.
They were being held Friday at the Atlantic County jail with bail set at $250,000 full cash with no 10 percent option.
Prosecutors did not disclose the exact age of the child or her relationship to the man and woman.
