You Know You Want To Look [Photos]
I love photography as a hobby and I enjoy sharing my photos, many from right here at the Jersey Shore. I hope you enjoy taking some time to relax as I share my visions with you ~ Shawn Michaels
This first group of pictures to start are of the Atlantic Ocean, Bayside along the Jersey Shore. I went out on a dock which lead out over the water, air temp that morning was 15 degrees with wind chill near 20 degrees below zero .... needless to say it was COLD!
I like this shot of a little canal going out to the bay, lots of ice ... just looks cold looking at it.
Black & White even looks colder!
Night Snow !
Sunrise Snow
One of the characteristic qualities of typical Pine Barrens streams is the unusual brown or so-called tea-colored appearance of the water. This color is the result of the water containing a high content of iron and by natural vegetative dyes such as tannin.
I pasted by this lil' stable and had to photograph, I recently watch "Secretariat" lol
Grabbed this shot while taking a winter hike. Great way to clear out the lungs when out on the trails on a cold morning.
Grabbed this shot in New York City, down near Grand Central .... the sign on the building stuck out, so I decided to do lil post-production and remove color from rest of shot. I like how it turned out...almost looks computer generated, but that's the actual picture on building. Have you seen it ?
Here's a shot of the coffee shop/clock tower at the Ocean County Library in Downtown Toms River on a snowy morning at 2:57 am on the way to Townsquare Towers to do the show..... such a quiet picture.
And here is our final photo for the February Shutterblog .... a smile! This is a sticker I got while on a trip through Tampa Bay, Florida .... Keep Smilin' and talk to you on the radio!
