Has your water tasted funny lately? You are not crazy if you think so.  New Jersey American Water has recently made an announcement that they are changing up the water treatment process and yes, it tastes weird.

Personally, I have a filter in my fridge so I start off with that, then, to clean the water even more, I fill a Brita Pitcher with that filtered water and if that is not enough I'll put the uncovered pitcher in the fridge overnight like that Patch article suggests.

If the increased chlorine taste bothers you, don't worry!  This is just a temporary change as maintenance is underway.  Or, if the taste is really bothering you, you could just drink wine, beer, vodka, or margaritas instead!  It is Friday you know.  :-)
