An early morning raid leads to two arrest in Jackson Township and the confiscation of drugs. Police say during the predawn hours Friday local officers and the Ocean County Regional SWAT team took Douglas Kiraly Jr.,27 of Jackson and Samantha Romer,24 of Brick into custody after a search of a Brewers Bridge Road residence turned up heroin, cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and and $2,250 in cash.

Romer was released on a summons but Kiraly is in the Ocean County Jail on possession with the intent to distribute and evidence tampering for attempting to flush evidence down the toilet. His bail is set at $75,000, no 10 percent.

The lead investigators were Jackson Police Detectives Ed Howe and John Rodriguez. They were assisted by Jackson Patrol Officers, the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, The Ocean County Sheriff's Department K-9 Unit and the Ocean County Sheriff's Department CIU unit.
