The Sun Shines as the Snow Falls in Ocean County Today

With the weather that we've had so far this winter, there's no doubt that it's been odd to say the least. But on my way to work today, I definitely experienced one of the stranger weather events. I'll call it "Sun Snow".

We get the "Sun Showers" plenty in the spring and summer, with a nice rainbow afterwords. But I have to admit, I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've seen the sun shining brightly while it was snowing pretty heavily.

And, while the "Sun Snow" can be a novelty and look nice. The National Weather Service is calling for rain, sleet, and snow this weekend and maybe even into next week. Winter isn't even close to over yet, unfortunately!
