Thousands Hit Seaside Heights To Kick Off The "Unofficial" Start of the 2013 Summer Season

Sue Moll and our Assistant Promotions Director, Meghan Oleske, braved the elements and the traffic to head to Seaside Heights to kick "Summer" off here at the Shore. The girls joined Governor Christie, the Today Show and thousands for all the fun. This Memorial Day Weekend kick-off was special following the hit the Jersey Shore took from Superstorm Sandy....as residents and businesses continue to rebuild after the storm.

Meghan and Sue enjoyed the day with listeners and volunteers as "Stronger Than The Storm" looked to break a World Record for "Ribbon Cutting" up and down the Jersey Shore!  It was a real thrill to see everyone working together to show that New Jersey is back and has survived this terrible storm. It was also fun to see Sue and Meghan appear, if only for a few seconds, on the Today Show ... The girls did a great job representing Townsquare Media and 92.7 WOBM.
