The Last Remaining Jersey Shore Kmart Is Officially Closing

The end of an era has arrived for the Jersey Shore - the last remaining Kmart in Monmouth and Ocean Counties will officially be closing.

Following in the footsteps of locations in Brick, Toms River, Manahawkin and Wall, the West Long Branch Kmart will be closing in just a few weeks.

The Asbury Park Press reports that company officials confirmed the news, with liquidation sales starting as early as this week and a final closure date set for April.

The Kmart in Brick closed in the spring of 2018, the Toms River location was shuttered just about a year ago, and the Wall Kmart locked their doors at the end of last summer.

If you're up for some bargain shopping, the West Long Branch Kmart is on Monmouth Road at the intersection of Route 36.
