“Take Me Home” Onyx is Ready for her Forever Home
Onyx is our Pet of the Week and what a beauty she is!
Onyx is a 2 1/2 year old Shar Pei that came to us in August, 2018, when her owner surrendered her and two other dogs because he didn't have time for them anymore. It was a good thing that Onyx was turned in actually, since she was suffered with severe entropion, which is a common ocular condition in many Shar Peis. We got her eyes all fixed up, but that was months ago and Onyx is still waiting. She's a typical Shar Pei that needs a little time to get to know you but once she does, she's loving, loyal, and your very best friend. Onyx is playful, sweet, well behaved, housebroken, and she got along fine with the other dogs in her home, one of which was her son, who has since been adopted. Onyx is still waiting though, and we think it's time for the marvelous mama to find a home of her own.
