As we count down the final hours of 2014, a lot of people will be watching Times Square's iconic ball drop at midnight to mark the new year. Taking a cue from that time honored tradition, a lot of places have some decidedly stranger New Year's Eve traditions.

From family fun to partying all night long, New Year's Eve is one of those holidays where there's an option for everyone. So how do you like to spend the last hours of the year?

Ok, now things are officially getting ridiculous. A friend of mine spotted this display just moments ago while she was out shopping tonight, December 19th. Yes, it's a display for Valentine's Day, which is nearly two months away still.

I might be in trouble. I placed an online order this morning that might not get here in time for Christmas. It's my own fault, I'm a last minute shopper.

Well, here we are, only about two weeks left in 2014, and a lot of us are trying to figure out what to do with that vacation time sitting there.

This is the kind of snow that isn't all that bad - it's not sticking to roads, barely sticking to grass, but sticking to trees and bushes enough to look nice.

It's a three day work week for many people, and as the Monday workday quickly flies by for a lot of us, the clock is ticking on those of us who still have a lot to accomplish before Thanksgiving Day.
