As part of a statewide program, New Jersey American Water is spending $3.8 Million to replace Water Mains in Ocean City over the next few months

It'll be a little bit busy on some roads during the weekday, workday hours in parts of Lakewood, Neptune, and Long Branch coming up as New Jersey American Water has announced the next project in the replacement of water mains in these communities.

SUEZ continues their work to upgrade water mains in Toms River, mostly in the downtown area, but are moving elsewhere beginning today.

If you've been driving around downtown Toms River of late, you've likely seen crews setting up detours as they carve up the roads and replace water mains and pipes.

It's a good time to plan ahead now if you live, work and/or commute through the downtown Toms River area.

There will be some road closures, delays and alternate routes in Lakewood coming up as New Jersey Amercian Water announced Friday that they will be replacing about 3,000 feet of again sewer main and 8,000 feet of aging water main.

There is a 70-year old water main heading to retirement as SUEZ begins a water infrastructure project on Tuesday morning in downtown Toms River.

A few months worth of taking out 8,000 feet of aging water main in Lakewood and replacing it with a fresher set of main begins on Monday.

New Jersey American Water is making their next stop on the replacing water mains tour in Lakewood next week.
