Nine days of early voting are being held in New Jersey for the first time, from Oct. 23 to Oct. 31. There are between three and 10 sites in each county.
There was all kinds of confusion last year with voting due to the pandemic and while it won't be a primarily mail-in ballot election in 2021, there are some changes to be versed with including the Early Voting process and how it works.

Counties can proces mail-in votes now but not tabulate them until election night. Provisional votes cast at polling places won't be counted until Nov. 10.
