If you live in a house with kids, parents, or grandparents, there's a good chance you spent part of the weekend watching the Olympics coverage on NBC. I have fond memories of sitting in the living room with my sister and parents with all our eyes focused on the skaters, skiiers, and other athletes.These days, it's common to have everyone doing their own thing. What shows do you enjoy watching with your family?

Last night FOX aired a live musical production of "A Christmas Story." My social media feed was full of people saying they shut it off because it was boring, terrible, etc. Then this morning I heard some more negative comments about it. With impressive writers and performers involved, and a live production that I thought went off without a hitch, my theory is that some people just don't like musicals. Are you one of them?

After the tragedy in NYC yesterday, I'm glad I could use "This Is Us" to escape from reality a bit. My other "go-to" shows when I want to chill on the couch are "Big Bang Theory" (which is moving to Thursdays, by the way,) and "Project Runway." I'm wondering what shows you've been into lately. Are there any series that are good for "binge-watching?" What programs do you look forward to watching each week?

I enjoy good TV shows, like many of you do. So you understand how exciting this time of year is. The shows we've been waiting for, for many months, are returning to our living rooms. It's almost like we'll get to see old friends who have been out of town for a while. Get the popcorn ready! What shows are you most looking forward to watching this season? Remember a while back I sat in on the taping of the Rachael Ray Show?  Well the episode finally aired on Tuesday so I can say that yes, officially, I was "on TV."  For about half a second!  It was a quick shot of me clapping with other audience members as the camera panned across our row quickly...

Actress Tawny Cypress has been making it big on television for some time now as she adds yet another big series to her resume. Tawny has starred on NBC's "Heroes" and CBS' "Unforgettable" .... and now Cypress stars on NBC's the "Blacklist Redemption"...
