Students who need to withdraw from college for a medical reason can only count on a full tuition refund from their school for maybe the first couple weeks of classes.
Public colleges and universities across New Jersey updated their websites this month and sent out alerts to remind everyone of their participation in Garden State Guarantee, which begins with the 2022-23 academic year.
"We are very serious about the nature and the power of COVID-19," Kathryn Foster, president of The College of New Jersey, said during a hearing held by the Assembly Higher Education Committee.
