Officers from the Red Bank Police Department are giving us a big warning to not to be distracted while driving. Red Bank applied for grant money to launch the "UDrive, UText, UPay" law enforcement campaign and it comes with hefty fines. It's no April Fools joke, on April 1st the crack down is on!

Talking on the phone isn't everyone's thing! It's a good thing technology is one step ahead of you!

While visiting a town in Union County, New Jersey, I noticed something really nice. Park benches were positioned to face each other. It's an arrangement that enables people to have honest to goodness face-to-face conversations. It gives people from the community a place to relax and catch up with one another. It may seem strange that a couple of park benches made me happy but think about the times we're living in: So many of our conversations happen on a cell phone or computer. Lots of our communication happens via text messages.

It's true.  I got a text message from a neighbor indicating the available dates at her beach house.  She listed a few weekends that were free and mentioned that I could even stay some weekdays if I could get the time off from work.  Wow...
