Have you had enough winter yet? We checked in on some of the official snow totals in Monmouth County after that doozy of a storm this weekend. I posted about Ocean County official totals here too.
Depending where you are in New Jersey, Winter Storm Niko may seem like a bit of a bust, but it's a different story from one end of the state to the other, with a wide range of snow totals.
We'll keep it updated throughout the day, but here's where we stand at the moment!
Saturday's snow dumped a healthy amount of snow at the Jersey. Reports in Ocean County were as high as 9" in Lanoka Harbor. Monmouth County picked up a healthy amount of snow as well. 8" of fluffy white snow was reported just outside of Long Branch...
Monday's storm has tapered off to mostly rain across southern New Jersey, but the snow did pile up a bit earlier. So how much fell before the mixing started?
Like a lot of Ocean County residents, I was pretty surprised when I stepped outside this morning to clean off my car. Expecting to only spend a moment or two brushing a dusting of snow off of my car, much of Ocean County got a good bit more snow than we were expecting.
