Tuesday's heavy line of storms may have spared Northern Ocean County, but the Southern end of the county got hit hard, interrupting graduations, downing trees, and cutting power to thousands. As severe weather spread throughout the Southern end of the state yesterday, the weather put the kibosh on Southern Regional's original graduation plans, and blasted right through the middle of Pinelands Regional's graduation ceremony.
With the remnants of Tropical Storm Karen expected to pass over Ocean County today, and as we get closer to the anniversary of Sandy, some Ocean County residents may be a bit anxious today.
