Up until now we've only been able to watch the progress on the Huddy Park renovations as they move closer to the official celebrations for Toms River's 250th birthday next month.
On Saturday, May 6th from 11am to 8pm, Washington Street in downtown Toms River will be closed to celebrate the Semiquincentennial of Toms River, which is free and open to the public.
Rededication and new historical attractions planned for the first municipal parkland ever set aside in what is now Toms River Township sets the stage for the community's Semiquincentennial Celebration in 2017.
