rainy days

Yesterday, most Ocean County municipalities were just able to sneak their 4th of July fireworks in before the rain moved in and soaked the festivities. But it's one of those things that you can't avoid in the summer - it will rain, and with the kids out of school, hopefully you have some good rainy summer day contingency plans!

While this weekend isn't going to be totally awful, tomorrow isn't looking like a perfect 4th of July weather-wise. Obviously, every Summer weekend isn't going to be sunny, warm, and dry. So what do you do when the weather doesn't cooperate during the Summer?

It's a rainy day here at the Shore!  You know what that means, it's time to make or get your favorite kind of soup.

Looking out the window this morning and seeing this rain and it's so damp, I just want soup!

Well, we haven't had a lot of these this Summer.  It looks like rain all day.  A muggy wet, kind of day where it would be great to just stay under the covers!  Maybe it's a day to jump in the puddles!
