Pirate's Day

If you're looking for a swashbucklin' good time with the entire family, consider coming in a costume to Barnegat Township's annual "Pirates Day" this Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. A giant wooden ship will mark the spot downtown on Bay Avenue at Route 9.

Barnegat Township will be celebrating its rich Revolutionary War history with a day of free family fun this coming Saturday. The annual Pirate's Day is being held at Gazebo Park at the intersection of Route 9 and East Bay Avenue where a replica wooden Pirate's ship will block the main downtown roadway...

As you drive along Route 9 in the area of Bay Avenue in Barnegat this Saturday, you'll notice a huge Pirate Ship blocking the Town's main drag to celebrate a very special annual event.
