Popcorn Park Zoo Re-Opens This Friday .... It has been a tourist attraction for years and a sanctuary to many animals here in Ocean County. The Popcorn Park Zoo in Forked River opened 43 years ago in 1977. The Zoo famous for it's "popcorn" that visitors can feed to various animals.

Help Find Forever Homes with the Jersey Shore Animal Center ..... There are many animals here at the Jersey Shore that are looking for that “forever home”. In this edition we are setting our sites on the Jersey Shore Animal Center in Brick.

Sue and I have been working with our friends at Popcorn Park Zoo in Forked River for many years, with many pet adoptions and visits over the years.

She's the purrfect addition for your family.

Shawn and Sue's Pet of the Week ... Cookie is a big, beautiful lady of about 3 1/2 years old that would just love a great home for the holidays! She had a home but was turned in when her owner became unable to care for her any longer.

Our "Pet of the Week" is this beautiful girl, waiting for her forever home.

Shawn & Sue's Pet of the Week is an Adorable Black Lab .... This gorgeous young lady is Nesra. Nesra came to Popcorn Park from their Newark facility after she was turned in by her family who just said they didn't want her anymore. This beautiful black lab is only 2 years old, and by the looks of her, she was quite neglected already in her young life. She did not, however, let this put a damper on her personality because she is an absolute DOLL!

Mickey and Mason are back and this time they'll find their forever home!

Sweet Melody is in search of her forever family.
