Neighborhoods are interesting. Some people make concerted efforts to make the neighborhood that they live in an important part of their lives, while others tend to keep to themselves.
I'm surprised that I didn't notice something out of place in my neighborhood until today. As I was heading out of the neighborhood to come to work I noticed one home with something unusual - Christmas decorations. In the middle of February.

Friday evening was one of the worst drives I've had this winter. The heavy, wet snow made the Parkway a slushy mess, and the fact that only one lane was marginally clear made the drive home a white knuckle, low speed stressfest. And then I came home to what you see above.
