The Monmouth County SPCA needs help finding whoever abandoned three dirty, dehydrated, and frightened puppies in Allaire State Park in Wall Township.

Authorities say Bani J. Mezquititla of Asbury Park allegedly "performed sexual acts on the animal" before torturing it, resulting in its death.

We are a family with three dogs all adopted from a shelter. One of our dogs is very "special" because he has no hair and needs a lot of attention.

The Monmouth County SPCA said the young dachshund mix is "scared but seemingly friendly."
