It's a life-changing event, a blessing, and joy growing inside...expecting and then delivering a baby into the world.

Women can be positive role models whether they birthed a child or not. Not having any kids of my own, I like to think I've helped guide and support the children who have been in my life at various stages.

With Mom not here anymore, Mothers' Day weekend can be a bit of a bummer. If your Mom has passed, or she lives far away, you know what I'm talking about.

Even though Mothers Day is a big day for flower sales, there's a gift that doesn't have to cost any money:  quality time.  Ever since I read that book "The Five Love Languages," I've been aware that many people would rather spend time with a loved one than get a gift...
