It's March, and we're getting ready to bring back Ocean County's biggest competition with WOBM's 4th Annual Mascot Madness!

One of the biggest online competitions for us in 2016 was the inaugural Mascot Madness. By the time it was all over, we'd received over 100,000 individual votes and the Toms River East Raiders walked away with the win.

It's hard to believe that we're sitting here on November 16th already and looking at a new year only weeks away (actually, 45 days from right now to be exact). It was a big year for WOBM.com, and here are the top 5 articles of the year from our website:

As Ocean County Mascot Madness has progressed, I've given midweek analysis updates every Wednesday. I don't want to break tradition but, to be honest, the graphic below speaks for itself:

After 4 weeks of voting and nearly 100,000 individual votes, Ocean County has spoken! The winner of Ocean County Mascot Madness is...

UPDATE: We have a winner!  CLICK HERE for the Ocean County Mascot Madness Winner It's been an incredible three rounds of voting on Ocean County Mascot Madness! Over the first three rounds, we've had an astounding number of votes cast - almost 60,000! And now, we're down to the final two.

ROUND 3 IS NOW CLOSED - CLICK HERE TO VOTE FOR THE FINALS Wow! What an incredible 72 hours! We've gotten more votes in three days for Round Three than for the whole week of voting for either of the first two rounds. As of this writing, we've gotten a stunning 15,532 votes!
