Why have I never heard of this "amazing" fundraiser in Manchester Township?

The annual Kevin’s Kids Christmas Drive is accepting donations of food, new toys and clothing for its annual effort to grant the specific wish list received from a Manchester child.

Around this time each year, Manchester Township school teachers, administrators, town officials, senior community residents, local business owners and first responders become Santa's little helpers. The occasion is the Kevin's Kid's Christmas Drive where an entire township pitches in to make the season bright for some of district's students and their cash-strapped families...

Donation drives around the state continue to see a huge outpouring of support in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. But what about staples of the holiday season? Will they be able to keep their missions going? Like many drives in New Jersey, there will be a noticeable change in the focus.
