Tuesday in Toms River three organizations came together to bring food, job training and even pro-bono tax preperation for individuals and families struggling to make ends meet, especially four years post Superstorm Sandy.

Nearly a year after Jon Bon Jovi and non-profit partners announced plans to address hunger in Ocean County, a CrowdRise fundraising campaign has been launched ahead of the May Grand Opening of the B.E.A.T. Center in Toms River.

Jon Bon Jovi's JBJ Soul Kitchen will be teaming up with 180 Turning Lives Around to host a moving art show to support survivors of domestic abuse.

Earlier today, a press conference was held in the Silverton section of Toms River to announce the teaming up of Jon Bon Jovi's "JBJ Soul Foundation", The Foodbank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties, and The Peoples Pantry to announce "The B.E.A.T. Center".
