Do you have a pile in your shed or in/around the house of stuff that you've been meaning to get rid of or haven't thought you could get rid of?

Ocean County is kicking off its annual Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Program on March 31 with its first stop in Lakewood.

Superstorm Sandy is generating mammoth amounts of debris as houses are reconditioned. Most of it will find a spot in recycling centers or landfills. But for every house that was compromised by water, there cleaners, solvents, pesticides and aerosol cans that were ruined. Ocean County officials have set five disposal dates in December.
