Golf Outing

I love my job because you never know who you can be in communication with. Recently, I received a phone call from Tina Loftus, the Director of Business Development for Just Believe Inc. Even though my conversation with Tina was brief, I felt inspired after hearing her passion for Just Believe Inc. We didn't talk for long, but I was able to feel her excitement about a brand new event they will host in August. I am excited to get the word out... Hopefully, you or someone you know can attend?!

Emiliana's Hope is a foundation formed in honor of Emiliana Rose O'Brien.  Emiliana was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare bone cancer.  Emiliana courageously endured harsh chemotherapy, radiation, and experimental drugs, but the cancer was too aggressive. Emiliana passed away on  December 1, 2015 at only 13 years old, she never gave up HOPE!

In the eight years since a group of friends began a partnership with a mutual pledge to "pay it forward," the organization now known as Friends Helping Friends of New Jersey has raised over $600,000 for Ocean County-area families in need.

The James Volpe Foundation Golf Classic is heading toward its sixth annual tee time next month, but the fundraiser in memory of a Jackson teenager who tragically died in 2011 will have a new address this year.

For the fifth straight year, the James Volpe Foundation will sponsor a Golf Classic in its namesake's memory, to be held this June 20 at Pine Barrens Golf Club in Jackson.
