A father lost his balance and fell back into the Millstone River after getting his three children out of the water when they became distressed.

A worker was shot dead Wednesday morning at PSE&G's offices by a former employee who took his own life.

Michael Gaboff, of Millstone, was arrested months after the Somerset County robbery. Police say he drove off from a Chase bank on Route 27 in Franklin, dressed in black on a motorcycle.

Seven men are accused of several murders and shootings, heroin distribution, and fraud schemes in New Brunswick and Franklin as part of the Bounty Hunter Bloods gang.

The victim's body was found in a wooded area near his residence.

Somerset County authorities were investigating the death of a young child in Franklin Township on Tuesday. Several news reports said the toddler had been left in a car, alone, for several hours.

The incident occurred at around 2 p.m. on Monday.

Police say the woman was shot when she tried to escape.

Somerset County investigators are looking into three armed robberies between Aug. 6 and Aug. 10 in Franklin at a hotel, convenience store, and gas station.

Rogelio Calyeca Postrero was picked up on Thursday after a report of a man masterbating in public. Police then linked the Raritan resident to sexual assaults in Bridgewater and Franklin.
