Police advise all NJ e-bike riders to follow traffic rules, use bike lanes, and adhere to registration and helmet requirements to avoid fines and legal issues.

The measure is a takeoff on the state's longstanding "move over" law, and was signed by Gov. Phil Murphy last August.

Collapsible personal vehicles will be permitted across the entire vehicle fleet at all times.
