Dubai

No, that's not Iron Man, but it might as well be. Jetpacks used to be the things of science fiction movies and cartoons, but this pair of daredevils (or lunatics, depending on your opinion) took their wearable rockets to the skies over Dubai and filmed the whole thing (apparently that's the place to go if you want to get amazing aerial video). The video is jaw dropping. Check it out:

It's amazing what can be done with technology these days. High quality cameras have gotten so small and light that it's possible to literally attach one to an eagle and see what the bird sees. The group Freedom Conservation did exactly that, and set the bird to flight from the very top of the world's tallest skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The footage that they got is absolutely astounding.
