A Pleasantville man has been arrested in connection with the overdose death of a Ship Bottom man at a home on West 18th Street on April 15, 2018.

Prominent sports figures from Ocean County will help the Prosecutor's Office continue spreading its anti-drug message at another free forum in Toms River.

A Toms River woman was found dead in a parked car in Brooklyn Thursday morning, according to published reports.

With cold and flu season in full swing, health officials are issuing warnings to prevent those with symptoms from accidentally overdosing on acetaminophen.

The tally of drug overdose fatalities in Ocean County now stands at 104 and the Prosecutors' Office said that they're waiting for toxicology results on several more individuals. However, behind those numbers are hundreds of families and friends dealing with the unbearable pain of their loss.

"We need to make people understand that this is a fight that we're going to try to win," so says Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato as the county continues to reduce the staggering number of overdose deaths that ended the year at 110 at last check.
