Yes, Ocean County, we've suffered through a long, cold winter, we've earned summer here at the shore! But the return of summer also means the return of traffic.

I can say without hesitation that my favorite part of the summer here is broadcasting from the Community Medical Center Seaside Park Boardwalk Studio every Friday.

To show that all creatures great and small love WOBM, the Community Medical Center Seaside Park Boardwalk Studio got an unexpected visitor this afternoon.

It was two years ago that I took the photo that you see above.

Yesterday and the first half of today, most of Ocean County got drenched. In fact, this time yesterday I wasn't sure if we'd be able to set up shop at the Community Medical Center Seaside Park Boardwalk Studio today or not.

It's been a brutally hot and humid week here at the Jersey Shore, and a lot of people are looking for some relief from the stifling heat and muggy air. Well, I have good news for you - the beach is the place to be today!

Last Friday as we kicked off the summer season from the Community Medical Center Seaside Park Boardwalk Studio, I wanted to put Skycam 927, the WOBM drone to work, but it was way too windy for any safe flying. Thankfully, the skies are much calmer today and our quadcopter took to the sky above our studio for a first look at summer in Seaside Park, 2016!
