Good news on the road to recovery in Brick Township. Officials announce the reopening of a badly damaged two block section of Normandy Beach this weekend.

With a recent Supreme Court decision behind them, officials from Jersey's beach and bay front communities are emboldened to obtain easements by any means necessary.

Plans that will allow Northern Barrier Island residents to return home for good and to allow visitors in the area this Monday will be met with some restrictions.

The Mayors of Toms River, Brick and Seaside Heights set a date for the repopulation of the Northern Barrier Island.
