A Barnegat Township man who allegedly hit a police detective with his car while backing up in the 711 parking lot on West Bay Avenue Thursday night, then his car is also now facing a number of drug charges.

Aged, disabled, and alone, facing torrential snow, power lapses and a voluntary evacuation advisory, a Barnegat woman managed Saturday on her own. By Sunday, she couldn't even get out of the house. One call to township police changed that.

Barnegat Police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing township resident.
